Trio Eleanor Dunlop, Fraser Harvey and Ben Mason form Cameras; the band that's snagged the chameleon rep for creating both light and dark, atmospheric, alt- indie rock.
Cameras formed in 2008, the trio began hastily writing and recording, before raking in attention with airplay from Triple J and FBi Radio on Australian shores, along with BBC 6 Music in the UK, and KCRW in the US.
The Sydney vaudevillian buzzmongers are set to release their debut full length album 'In Your Room' in October on Speak N Spell through Inertia. The band's earlier songs were polished off under the guidance of producer Scott Horscroft (The Presets, The Panics) before Cameras hit the festival circuit including Southbound, Playground Weekender, Big Day Out, Adelaide Fringe Festival and One Movement. The trio also wrote the score to NIDA's haunting stage production, Motel, and performed it live with the cast.
Earlier this year, the band were invited to tour Australia, opening for art rock legends Roxy Music on their national tour.
